Desirial® FOR YOUR VAGINAL DRYNESS

DARE TO CONSULT FOR YOUR INTIMATE WELL-BEING

NO LONGER SUFFER IN SILENCE

YOUR HEALTH IS IN YOUR HANDS

Shame, discomfort, bias… Women are often afraid to discuss their intimate health, even when consulting their doctor about health problems. But silence can have consequences. It is time to forgo discretion and start a dialogue to overcome feelings of shame, fear, and lack of self-confidence. Let’s break down the taboos!

One in four women affected by vulvovaginal dryness has never spoken to a health professional about this issue, and 40% wait one to five years before making an appointment. Of these, three out of four make the decision to talk about the problem themselves1.

However, the doctor/patient dialogue is very important. When openly discussing their intimate problems with their doctor, 75% of women say they would have like their doctor to have been more receptive1.

Communication between doctor and patient remains a major lever for a good doctor/patient relationship. It is important for the doctor to initiate a discussion with patients who may be experiencing vulvovaginal dryness to make them aware of the problem and offer them the most appropriate treatments.
